Avalon Suites meets a real need in the community. My experience with the staff for Avalon Suites was nothing but professional. From the phone call to setup a reservation, to check in and then check out about eight weeks later, the process was smooth and painless. I stayed in a one bedroom furnished unit that faced the street. While the road noise is loud during the day after a while it just becomes white noise. The road is not heavily traveled at night so it was not noticeable at night. The room was very clean when I checked in. Linens and towels as well as dishes and kitchen appliances are provided along with a cable connected television and wifi. Avalon Suites met my needs for short term housing and was far less expensive than a stay at an extended stay or a hotel. For the price paid the qualify of room and staff it was well worth it. Thanks to the staff at Avalon for a great stay. If you need short term housing I highly recommend a cost effective and quality stay at Avalon Suites.
If you need space then this place might be a good idea. The "free WiFi" is very spotty and extremely slow (max you can get is 2Mb). There's also plenty of space around doors and windows for bugs to get in (and they will). Definitely not worth the price and unless you need the space of an apartment, any hotel would be better.
Very clean and reasonably priced
Avalon Suites is truly a home away from home. For our family reunion in July, we needed a place where my elderly parents could stay, rest and feel at home. We used Avalon Suites as our home base. We booked 2 two bedroom apartments for our of town guests and were very happy. The apartments are clean and comfortable. Debbie is a pleasure to work with. I recommend Avalon Suites as a wonderful and economical alternative to hotels.
My family stays there when they're in town. Staff is polite and courteous. They've become friends with my family. Always clean and stocked with the necessities. Great place, would definitely recommend!
